1. Biological Spectral Identification Lab - QuantaSpec's lab includes a Bruker Hyperion-3000 IR microscope with a 128x128 focal plane array (FPA) and Bruker Tensor T27 Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometer housed in a bio safety level 2 lab (BSL-2)
2. Energetic Materials Lab - QuantaSpec is an Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATFE) licensed explosive handler. This lab has a Type 2 explosive magazine, explosion proof fume hood, and NEMA class 4 Lighting.
3. Optics Lab - The optics lab is outfitted with remote spectroscopy and differential absorption LIDAR equipment, optics tables, mid infrared lasers, spectrometers, monochromators, digitizers, amplifiers, oscilloscope, high speed infrared detectors, FTIR with built in telescope, quantum cascade lasers, etc.
4. Application Development Lab - The application development lab is outfitted with high performance computers and specialized software for the spectral identification of bacteria, fungi, parasites and chemical compounds as well as the modeling of light transmission under different atmospheric conditions.
